The new kitchen was to have a major extension, transforming what was a small kitchen and separate dining room into a much larger kitchen/family dining room that better fitted a young growing family.

Working together with the Architect and Contractor at the early design stages enabled us to influence the final extension to facilitate best use of the new kitchen area. An initial design meeting was held with Nicci and Stephen who outlined their main design criteria which was to have a modern minimalist look which would incorporate an island; the only other requirement was to include an American fridge freezer.

An initial design proposal was submitted to Nicci and Stephen which they were delighted with, the design needing only minor tweaking.

The design featured the American fridge freezer and ovens into a bank of tall units, a splayed island in which the induction hob was located as well as defining the kitchen working area.

The island also incorporated a breakfast bar with casual seating consistent with Nicci and Stephens brief.

Nicci and Stephen achieved their minimalist look by selecting an odyssey high gloss door with a white quarts worktop and upstands.

Following discussions with Elite regarding the pros and cons of different appliances Nicci and Stephen selected Neff appliances throughout.

Working with the builder, the installation took just one week, at the end of which we were delighted to receive the following text from Stephen - "Thanks for all your help with everything, everyone who visits is gobsmacked at the finish, so thanks to you again and everyone at Elite"
